During the evaluation-writing process, you can expect to meet with me for at least one 90-minute evaluation block (broken into an initial 60 minute virtual meeting, followed by an additional 30 or 45 minute meeting, to collect follow up information during the evaluation-writing process). During these meetings, we will discuss details around your immigration case, specifically your traumatic experiences, current and past symptoms, and the reasons that staying in the United States is of benefit to you. Our meetings will likely be conducted virtually, through an online HIPAA-secure video telehealth platform- a link for which will be provided to you.
It is normal for anxiety to surround these meetings, as well as the overall immigration process. We can discuss these feelings during our evaluation meeting.
My background is in working with both children and adults, specifically those who have experienced trauma. In addition to trauma-focused work, I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, post-partum relationships, parenting, foster care/adoption, and family conflict.
I am here to answer any questions you may have, and support you through this evaluative process.
